Welcome

We all have a right to be safe, to live our lives free from fear, to use the law and to play an active part as equal citizens in our communities.

People with learning difficulties are working in Partnership with the Police and other services to stop bullying, harassment, abuse and Hate Crime.

People are working in Partnership with The PIP Pack

A resource pack designed by and for people with learning difficulties and for services who work with them. It is in easy words and pictures and on CD.

The PIP Pack contains information about the rights of people with learning difficulties, personal safety information, tools to aid crime reporting and signposts to services aiming to support the public to report crime or as a victim of Hate Crime and other crimes.

ACPO, the Home Office and the Disability Rights Commission recognise the PIP Pack as good practice and a useful tool in developing Disability Equality Schemes.
